I going to have to run my own node to be sure of privacy with XMR?
If you want maximum privacy pros say nodes are the only way
They are bunch of crooks I brought a mastercard prepaid giftcard and you wouldn't believe me that they we're not showing me details of gift card because I was using tor or vpn Than due to this I removed the vpn and then they saved my ip with the txn
They saved ? And how was the tx related to your card link anyways ?
To issue the prepaid card, we need the redeem code for MyPrepaidCard, which is issued by CakePay. However, to view the redeem code, we must not be connected to a VPN, Tor, or any other similar service, as the code won't be displayed. After trying everything, I finally saw the code by disabling the VPN. This means they captured my IP address. Since I paid via XMR (Monero), they have now linked my IP with the Monero transaction hash in their database. If, in the future, the FBI requests information about the sale, they will provide my IP address. As you know from previous incidents involving Dark Web criminals, this is how they are actually tracking users who is using cakepay. In the name of privacy, they are actually stabbing users in the back.
Creating a Visa or MasterCard anonymously is not feasible.
Yea this is a flaw of Cake if you can’t receive the code without VPN. Receiving a redeemable code should be as simple as sending it to an email you provided . 0 reason for them to ask this of you
Your tx and that card are not related, the card issuer doesn’t get any of your tx info
That's all about myprepaidcenter's terms of service, and if cake wallet card buying works like trocador's, rewardsevolved is the one processing the xmr transaction, not myprepaidcenter (if I'm not mistaken) You can also redeem your code from a different network not tied to you but that's another matter 😁
Dude it's not on myprepaidcard they can send us the redeem code directly on email but instead they send a third party link to capture my VPN/IP
Forgot those prepaid crap. Start using Ultimo card.
Oh, then you could try Trocador, they send you a redeem code on email that takes you to a website, get a different redeem code there, and then myprepaidcenter
Use stealths.net they work over tor
They cant, cakepay doesn't issue these giftcards.
No suddenly they integrated cakepay on their web so they also sends us the card in same creepy format
Trocador integranted cakepay you mean? As of this week I've buying them through the API (I made a tg bot around it) with no issue and nothing to do with cake, I dont know if I understand you here
I sent you a message
Dude, the prepaid card delivery methods of Trocador and CakePay are exactly the same. If you do more research, you will find that Trocador is no longer the same as before. For every trade, they capture our IP. And if you use their Tor domain, there will be no exchange to complete our trade.
I'll try buying one soon to see what you mean 👍
I just bought a card from Trocador's API and don't see anything about cake pay, it's the process I told of trocador->rewardsevolved->myprepaidcenter. Also tried using their Tor link to buy a card and I just created an order for paying with Monero with no problems 🤔. As far as I know, not all coins are available for buying cards through tor, but monero works (at least for $10), that's what Trocador support told me some weeks ago (I made a tg bot to buy them using both clearnet & Tor, and it's been working flawlessly for months)
Yep that's reawardresolved link that's too annoying They only allow to see code when we don't use vpn
I bought a $150 card from Cakepay and another $250 card from Trocador. Both cards have the same BIN and are from MyPrepaidCenter. However, here's the twist: the cards were successfully added to my Samsung Pay watch account, but when I try to pay offline, I face no issues with the card purchased from Trocador. However, the card I bought from Cakepay is always declined when paying offline. Did you ever faced something like this
I never tried to pay offline, so can't add info about this. Anyways, if you're concerned about KYC, I would never use Google/apple/Samsung pay... Have you read their ToS and Privacy Policy?
Dude, I did some checking and found that one sent by Trocador is also partnered with CakePay. The rewardresolved(dot)com URL sent by both merchants uses a third-party API from CakePay to retrieve the code. So, this means CakePay first sends them the code this way just to retrieve the IP address. Does anyone know how to get the usernames of the people who created CakePay? I want to abuse them to make people fool.
