There'S also the fact that it's difficult for us as

admins to report any of this to. We can report to Western law enforcement, but what are they going to do about it? The scams are not within their jurisdiction.

Reporting to Russian law enforcement would also likely be useless.

We generally report to Telegram but they admitted that in the past they had a policy of ignoring such reports. They say now that they will do something, but it's hard to say if that's true.

The best we can do it seems is to warn others about the scam. However, most of the scamming doesn't happen here, it happens elsewhere and they direct victims here for "support". Probably only to leach credibility towards the scam in the first place.
