What I’m wondering is this: is it really worth jumping

through all these hoops to start hosting with HOT if Holofuel will be available in a few months? Shouldn’t they just focus on launching Holofuel as soon as possible? Or was this necessary to secure the deal with pVollaphone? Although it’s being presented as a positive step, it does bring back valid concerns shared by many here about ongoing issues with meeting deadlines and goals.

One of the important factors for a company of any kind, if it wants to keep up with the times, is to "be dynamic" in undertaking any changes in corporate policy based on the factual needs of the market. All companies do this to express the best of their potential, aimed essentially at the medium and long-term vision 🚀

Yes, it's huge. Some people ask "Hey, why do others already have it?". But who are the others? No one has done something like this before. Here we are talking about Holochain and its framework, with all its prerogatives in terms of security and respect for the individual. So also Holo. It is another paradigm compared to what is out there. It cannot be compared, for example, with SIA or File Coin simply because it is another world, a different way of putting people at the center and respecting their fundamental rights 🤷

I’ve been concerned about the company multiple times over 7 years. I also know that I have struggled to run a business as an independent contractor. So I clearly know nothing about the complexities they are dealing with. Every time, every time, in the end, what they have done makes things better and reflect on a company committed to its long term vision. Every time I’ve been concerned has been an opportunity for me to trust the intuition that had me trust Holochain when I first learned about it. There is a saying that goes something like this: “my opinion of you says more about me than it does about you.” Very useful in these emotionally charged times.
