Does anyone here know if Hedera has completed the SAFT

distributions? Someone asking in another chat. Seems crazy to think they wouldn't have after 6 years.

The answer is a little complex. The technically correct answer is YES. However, distributions are still being made to a group of SAFT contributors as a result of an offer that was made to appease disgruntled “investors” after the token became tradable on exchanges and the price crashed to $0.01 back in 2018. To cut a long story short, SAFT contributors were offered a deal that would pay them back monies based on their initial investment dollars but only to be paid from transaction fee revenue and future fund raising. Basically, funds will be distributed to SAFT investors that opted into this deal for multiple years, but the amounts they are getting each month are pretty minimal and, in my opinion, have no impact on the price of HBAR at any given time.
