problem?
Can I please get an answer on this question? I know it is a common problem but I did not see a way to solve it, it will be nice to get it. I do not want to quit the Ocean Nodes but want to try to solve the issue
Hey! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Regarding the "No Peer Data" issue: I recommend checking out this post for detailed guidance: https://t.me/oceanprotocol_community/413195. In short, "No Peer Data" usually means that the node isn't visible on the P2P network. To troubleshoot, you might: Use another node in the network to send direct commands to the problematic node and see if it responds. A quick workaround can be restarting the node when you notice the issue.
What is benefit when I run Ocean Node
Heey Running an Ocean Node offers several key benefits, primarily focused on earning rewards. The program distributes 300,000 ROSE each epoch to nodes that maintain at least 90% uptime. To further incentivize participation, the Ocean Node program includes reward multipliers during different phases. For example, Phase 1 featured a 1.5x multiplier, Phase 2 a 1.3x multiplier, and Phase 3 a 1.2x multiplier. The top 50 nodes in each phase receive additional boosters, enhancing their rewards. This long-term initiative ensures that participants are consistently rewarded for their reliability and contribution to the ecosystem.
