not yet, but yes we are engaged with alexei and dominik, and this will come. we are working on our first xcmp based scenarios now. the first scenarios are to allow the bidirectional movement of ksm to / from kusama and moonriver. an updated version of this integration is going to our testnet next week. with this there is no bridge and you can natively move ksm to an erc20 ksm on moonriver and back again to a ksm account. many more integrations to follow along these same lines. and not only assets. also things like remote invocation. so remote control of relay chain staking functionality from moonriver based smart contracts as another example that we are working on with lido.
sorry, i didn’t mean specifically interBTC, was just giving an example of another parachain. i was wondering if bridging parachains together was simpler than bridging solo chains
I think so with xcmp being deployed. @derekyoo can solo chains like sora use xcmp or is that only for parachains?
I would say it will be much easier, much more secure, and much richer. easier because there is the xcmp standard that parachains can use to directly communicate and integrate with each other. more secure because it is secured by kusama / polkadot itself, so no additional software, no additional relayers or node operators, no additional security assumptions. richer because xcmp can be used for asset transfers but also for any arbitrarily complex cross chain interactions, like remote function calls, etc.
