Quick question about setting up a polkadotjs account: When you

create an account, it gives you a key. However, when you choose the network (Kusama, Polkadot, etc..), it changes the key to that relay chain's format. So, my question is, do you need to save both keys? OR does the first key no longer exist once you switch to your preferred network and the key format adjusts?

You just need to save the key from the first regis...

There is a key that is generated when you are in step 1. Then, when you choose a relay chain from the drop down in step 2, it changes the key depending on which chain you choose (Polkadot, Kusama, etc..). So, I am asking, should we save that first key or ignore it?

Hm, ok. So, save the private key from the first step but the polkadot key generated in step 2 (the key that starts with a "1"), is the one we actually use for the crowdloan. Is this correct?

Correct. I believe you can import the first one on another chains too, as long as it is in Polkadot.js
