I’ll elaborate 🙂 There are two different encryption algorithms that the Casper network supports for creating accounts and signing transactions, secp256k1 and ed25519. ED25519: is fast, provides high level of security with fool proof session keys among other features. Secp256k1: is an efficient encryption algorithm and it's the same algorithm used by bitcoin and Ethereum. The Casper network supports this algorithm and this enables Casper to support Bitcoin and Ethereum keys on the Casper network. This means that you'll be able to use your BTC and Ethereum privates keys on the Casper network albeit with public addresses that are unique to Casper network. https://docs.casperlabs.io/en/latest/dapp-dev-guide/keys.html?highlight=Secp256k1
