we have got nothing for the last 13 drops in a row. I don't dare to invite more friends to download the APP since no one's getting anything from the first day they using the app. We understand the user is getting more and more and its harder to get from the drop, but 13 times in a row and "NO" one around me got anything for few weeks straight? Could you please look into it and see if there is any way to solve the issue? I believe the Ecomi/Veve is going to be a global scale platform, but if most people outside UK and US can only buy from the market but no chance to get from the drop, no one is going to keep using the app. Thanks. Jeff
Mate I got the Spider-Man drop last night from a mine site west of Mt. Isa which literally has the shittest internet in the modern world.
Which kinda negates your theory that there is an issue present for Australian users. Understand it’s frustrating not getting a drop, I myself haven’t got a comic drop for some weeks, but it’s simply luck of the drop mate
I recently upgraded my modem and internet service. Before the drop, I deleted my files from the app, restarted my phone and modem, closed out all the other apps, took my phone case off, sat next to my modem AND made sure i was in the US..got nothing today 😭
You killed me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I like your dedication friend. Good luck for future drops 🤞🏼
I asked my friend in HK to join the app last month and she hasn't missed 1 single drop, but my friends in Melbourne including me and my wife couldn't get anything for 13 times in a row. Also, I asked my friend in US to try the app amd she hasn't missed anything in the last 3 drops. Not saying Australia is impossible to get anything, but I believe that most of the people getting the drops are in US and UK, because they are closer to the server. Also I am not a new Veve user, been using the app for months, so I know what is going on.
Everything 100% true 🤣
It is, but it sounds like comedy😂🤣🤣 sorry mate, better luck next time.
You too my friend 👊🏽
I think you’ll find its a weight of numbers thing - obviously there are far more people in the US and Europe going for these drops, so naturally the perception will be that they get “all the drops”. Be interesting if VeVe could actually publish (not sure of the privacy ramifications) demographic information. I’d go so far as to say that successful drops per capita, Australia and Asia etc would be in line with America & Europe.
If you know how the internet works then you should know the latency/ping is very important when you are talking about speed and successful rate. Just like when you play internet game and if your latency/ ping is high then you will lag compares to other players and when you are competing with 10s of thousands people at the same time, you are pretty much sure that you will be the slow one. Why you think they are banning bots? Because bot has faster reaction time compares to human and they think its unfair for people not using bot, then why you think the speed is not relevent here?
While speed is relevant, bots are a different issue altogether. If it were all about latency, tell me how do I on a low mint drop, be successful on satellite internet in the middle of the Australian desert? By your theory, it would be like me running against Usain Bolt in the 100m sprint. While I’m not naive to suggest there are users out there who don’t have a technical advantage (internet speed, device etc), I don’t believe those in the Southern Hemisphere are at as much of a disadvantage as what’s sometimes made out.
Well said Jeff. Totally agree with you.
Buy stuff you like and from the marketplace. That’s going to be the standard. How can you expect others to buy the market if you’re not. Seems we have a 1% chance of scoring anything most of the time outside of the market. You don’t deserve shit every time something happens. If it was an apple store error would you be telling apple to give you free shit and complaining in their chat or giving them space to work on it?
Ridiculous to keep calling it luck. bots and internet connection, not luck. happy for you, but please, you guys should stop take the sheriff roll and put down anyone who complains with those 2 cents answers
I would argue that that responses based on fact to statements based on perception do not quantify as “2c answers”
you live in Australia? what generation you got on your phone connection? how much mb do you have from your internet supplier? what route does it takes to the servers?
How do you know that I am not buying things from the market? I bought quite a few SR, UR and some other things that I like from the market and I have more than 210 collectables now and most of them are from market. I am also in the top 1% OMI holders. I am just rise the issue here that if Veve is going to be a global scale platform then it should look after all the users not just in favour of certain groups of people. They can easily check which countries got most of drops and they can see if there is any issues there right ?
