send usdc to a wallet on stakerapp do I also have to send eth so it's cheaper to swap for Hex? Or are the swap fees paid with eth and usdc the same?

Because it's asking me to pay 130 dollars in USDC to swap for Hex. And I checked 1inch and the fee is currently around 63. So I was wondering if I could save more just by sending eth to the address.

If you can send into staker cheaper than buying in staker, go for it. The way staker calculates ETH fee vs another option will be different

Yeah that's what I had to do. Paid the high gas fees but w/e still got the dip

Yes you can ask about staker here. I believe you can deduct ETH fee with the crypto you have in it, but try and see, or ask others.
