WTF. Just looked at GWEI defined. It equals

one billionth of an Ethereum. Do the math! WTF are they doing. Just stealing at will. Seriously. How does paying all those fees when we should be paying a very small fraction. At 82 gwei and the current price of an etherum token. A transaction should cost 0.000306844 What am I doing wrong? Am I doing the math wrong?

Exactly. Do the math. One ethereum currently is $3,725.57 divide it by 1 billion. Multiply that by the advertised GWEI 84 and you sure the hell do not get anywhere near a penny, let alone dollars...

Almost GWEI is the price you pay for the gas, the limit is the liters you put in the tank normally they are in the 200k range. So 200k x 84GWei = 0.0168 Eth -> $63 a transaction

Exactly. I set it at 47$ to swap 2000 hex I was gonna transfer it and it failed so now my Eth is gonzo. If a transaction fails on pulse it cost 2$ that’s fine. Metamask and Eth get paid but you lose and have to pay more next time? Crazy
