I have a 10-12 year old hard drive i might

have a few bitcoins on, the hard drive is so old it has an issue and im trying to remove the screws from it so I can get into it, but they wont come off they are like stripped or something, any idea how i can saw the top off?

You can't do this in a normal environment. It need to be in a clean room. You need to have a professional restore it.

The question is what to expect to find after that. You cannot just plug & play 😅 you could try to find a functional electronic board, but has to match the same with the right firmware. If the head has a problem or the surface, it’s nearly impossible without a professional rescue-surface. Even for them if it’s damaged too hard. Did that for my customers many times, you have to be very careful, the damage would be irreparable 😅😅
