Hi @Fiexer @bLd759. Is it technically possible to create a

kind of unified addresses/accounts to combine SS58 and H160 address types? A need for SS58 <> H160 transfers may be may create difficulties and confusion for a majority of users. Thank you.

No that's currently not possible to create

We are still facing a lot of challenges regarding this, especially when the Frontier library introduced mapped ss58 h160 accounts. Our custom signature pallet allows ECDSA private keys to sign native Substrate calls directly, and you can convert h160 to ss58 with ECDSA public key. So in theory, at least in Astar, you sorta can use a single account for all of them, but native ecdsa and substrate accounts have fundamental differences and EVM mapped h160 accounts made things even for complicated. For example, native ecdsa -> convert pub key to ss58 -> mapped evm h160 Mapped evm h160 != native ecdsa even though they’re from the same private key.
