seems like it is and advanced stage L1 solution with partnerships with (ibm, etc) and if that is the case, why do more people not know about it?

Agree with this approach! However many many projects market before anything being built. Not going to name and shame!

I'm not a marketing expert but there are many ways to Rome and we surely all hope that it won'T end up like BluRay vs HD-DVD or VHS vs Super2000 or however it was called 😉

I saw another youtube, where blockchain was compared more to the Linux platform, where you have many open source and co existing platforms which are successful.

It's in a very early stage - lots of things are being built rn and will be released soon. So - again my guess 😉 - it's counter-productive to start marketing like crazy now. So far it looks more like new partnerships are established in the background and more and more devs are attracted via hackathons and the DEVxDAO grants. I also read sometimes "technology first" here IIRC. And at least from my personal view (I'm just a community member running a few nodes here) progress is made - it just takes time to build and show it to the public.
