so what do you recommend. I thought we needed a DEX to get transfer etherum into hex. I commentor said that is not the case. We can buy HEX directly from Staker wallker? Is this true? What do I need to get started so I can buy my first HEX today. Step #1....Step #2.... etc.

1. buy ETH or USDC 2. send to your preferred wallet. 3. Swap eth/usdc for HEX 4. Stake using staker.app or go.hex.com in combination with a brand spanking new metamask account with new seedwords and all. Written down on paper, with a pen.
For smaller amounts of HEX, you might find it useful to look at changenow.io

ok but this is just another buying exchange platform. I dont think I can buy directly from Staker app due to U.S. regulations. So my only options are buy ETC from DEX and then transfer that into hex. Do you know what the g*s fees are like at changenow?

Just use ChangeNow.io to swap other tokens for HEX thats then sent to wherever you want like staker.app or metamask u specify the public address where to send HEX to, no fees.
