10 years does the interest rate fluctuate or drop or does it remain stagnant?
what do the many HEX calculators tell you?
I am asking this question as a general inquiry. Here is what the calculator says:
The interest rate is calculated daily. If you stake longer than 5.7 years, that will help, because in the future, 1 tshares will be like 50,000 hex, so you holding 1 tshares will be a larger slice of the pie potentially. People used to earn 1-2 hex per tshare a day, now 5.7, but some days we earned 10 because of EES bonus. And in the future if you staked longer than average, the payout will probably be higher per tshare. We can't predict how many stakers their will be, or EES, but the more staker the higher the hex price, so maybe less interest, but it is worth a lot more in usd terms
Change the currency to USD and you’ll get different values — one shows ROI in HEX terms, the other ROI in USD terms.
oh I didnt know that. Quite fascinating. So interest rates drop with more stakers but price significantly increases. You can use this as a metaphor. Based on the economy interest rates will fluctuate due to federal reserve guidelines. Same with the stock market and such. Makes sense
