Hey @CryptoForgecc I got 5.3.1 setup but need to rescan

my wallet. When I hit rescan it scans up until 7% and then it stops there for a long time. I have to quit using top on linux. Debug log doesn’t show much. Any advice?

Update: seems it doesn’t stop at 7%. It scans really quickly all the way up to block 155300 and then it slows down like crazy going 100 blocks at a time with 300% cpu usage and 41% memory usage according to top

I see thanks. so it’s normal behaviour? I left it running it’s at 10% since I sent that msg, so it’s almost been an hour of scanning. It’ll take over 10 hours at this rate. Is that normal? Computer is almost unusable with it running in the background, feels like something isn’t right. Not sure.

8Gb ram and a quad-core i5 4th gen. Yea processors a little older but 350% cpu usage doesn’t seem right
