Yes, but the thing that really confuse me is how

can they assure the rewards of the referral program, if they cannot know how many dots they will collect?

This comes from a separate allocation, the 5%.

Simulations, maths ;)

Because the referral program says: 0,1ASTR for every 1 DOT your friend put in. What if the total amount of DOT result in higher referral rewards than that 5% allocated for it? haha. Is there any guarantee that they will allocate more to cover that if necessary?

There will be a maximum cap of lock dot so the reward won't exceed that 5%

Well.. I think maybe they have done their calculation and such.. cos I don't think the % of referral will be high... I guess might be 15% of dots contribution is referred.. And let's says there is 20m dots contribution. 15% of these dots are referred .. that makes 3m dots that is referred. And going by the ratio.. the referral will get 300k Astar. That makes like 0.4% of the whole initial supply.. which is lesser than 5%

Thanks, make sense. Though I believe thta people could realize that this is a good method to assure certain minimum of ASTR (or at least I am seeing it like that, cause it cannot be diluted haha). Thanks for the point of view!
