Are the routers that handle the messages staking link to ensure messages are routed properly? Are CCIP commands stored on both chains?
From my initial reading of the CCIP documents, you do need LINK to pay for node operators to handle your message request. If node operators are involved, then they would need to have some sort of stake to prove their trustworthiness much like nodes that handle other kind of job like price feeds and VRF. For your last question, I don't know the answer to that but maybe you can research more and let other people know as well. Since this is a new protocol my answers are not a definitive statement. Just initial understanding. Do correct me if I'm wrong.
