Ok, Have done some calculations to compare Minting USDX to borrowing USDX on Kava Lend. Both assume the USDX is then supplied to Kava Lend. My calculations in the tables below also assume a user leverages their USDX to borrow more and resuply to leverage by 30% and then delegate any vesting Kava rewards When borrowing USDX on Kava Lend you aren't worried by USDX falling below $1.00 as that simply reduces your borrow balance and makes your position safer, it is a rise above $1.00 that might cause a liquidation so in my calcs assumed you borrowed slightly less so USDX could rise to $1.02 with no extra risk compared to minting In summary only if you minted/borrowed USDX at a very very safe levels (perhaps around 30% of the max) did the Kava Lend option beat minting USDX in a CDP, the exception currently is when supplyinh Hard toeksnas the assets as is currently has a high supply APY giving it an advantage
