ETH 2.0 will not be able to cut ties with

mining...and It shouldn't..it will just allow for more throughout..and lower fees... ETH being Asic resistant way more than BTC..and such a powerful group... Could be like a on chain and ⚡ type Sharded transactions?

I am an eth miner for 4 years. We tried an experiment earlier this year, and failed. Eth will discard the miners as soon as they possibly can. They will have a period of running both POS and POW for awhile after the merge, as a bribe to the miners to keep the peaceful transition, but make no mistake, the eth developers hate us miners and will act to crush us. If they get a smell of rebellion, they will speed up the fork and cut us off. They also have a built in difficulty bomb which destroys our profitability. If they do not push it back, miners will stop due to it not being at all profitable. Eth devs essentially want us miners to do the work, and then discard us to pump their bags. It is sickening.

Sorry for your loss but do you think mining as is, is scalable for ETHs future?

Better for PLS eh?

PoW is not really scalable and as it scales it leads to network centralization. PoW made sense for a P2P digital cash for nerds, like Bitcoin tried to be. But otherway it was such a dumb idea to implement it on an actual blockchain network like Ethereum, that it borders to idiotic. Vitalik and company only did it, because the code code for PoS required a couple of years of development and they wanted to launch at least something that wasn't just a promisecoin. Yet, this lead to the disastrous situation that we have now, where PoS networks are being launched empty with the purpose to kill Ethereum, but at the same time all relevant economy is on Ethereum.
