I understand you want more rewards. But I don't think you can call things unfair. All of the parameters and mechanics of the crowdloan were quite clearly communicated. Everyone has to make their own decision on if it makes sense to contribute or not to any given crowdloan.

Sure, it would be great to win the first slot, but what is important for us is to win one of the first 5 slots. Winning the second one is fine. That is what happened with Moonriver, and it has worked out just fine. To spend a bunch of resources and effort to win slot 1 vs 2 doesn't make a lot of sense to me. People will forget which slot was won. Its what you do with the slot, the activity, the ecosystem on the parachain that matters much more. I would rather put energy and resources into that.
