HEX Staking is actually very computationally efficient compared to other staking protocols. The increased cost is attributed to the increased SLOAD (read from disk transaction) cost, which was tripled on Ethereum as a preventative 'security measure'

After running GA, it'll still be necessary to run 'end-stake' at some point, of course, to get the HEX. Having already run GA would make that 'end-stake' a little cheaper in g*as than it otherwise would be but running both functions would end up costing more in g*as. GA isn't really a way to sidestep g*as.

Where can one read more about ending HEX stake?

g a s fees vary all the time, but usually cheaper at weekend night / early morning (when US is sleeping) ... End stakes have to perfomt an (expensive) "SLoad" calculation for each day you were staked, and vitalik jacked the price up over 12X in the last 2 years

Okay!.... Well, I hope one is able to still make some reasonable profit at the end of the stake - I mean, people have stake for 5, 10..... years 🤔 What if VitaLik increases ETH price 1000x 🙆🏾‍♂️🙆🏾‍♂️

Well what if I die before I end stake. What if the world ends. What if I loose my seeds. What if I loose my memory and forget what Hrx is.

So uuuuhm, what about my 3000 day stake then? Is this going to be expensive af?

Buy ETH in the next big crash to hold for fees, ... or since HEX appreciates faster than ETH maybe unstake on Pulsecahin first and use some of those gains to pay the eth fee — you'll still come out ahead

no one knows what it'll be like then — none of these prices are fixed, and ethereum might actually have rolled out eth2.0 by then
