it's market cap so low, while it's price high. Is something like transferring bcha to xec about to happen??
OK then why it's price not bcha? Sorry I want to understand
websites like coinmarketcap or coingecko take the price at different exchanges, calculate and average and with that they calculate marketcap and give other data So the price there is not like the price at an exchange but a calculated/averaged price Because of the rebranding and redenomination (1BCHA became 1 Million XEC) these sites made a new page so they could display the price in XEC also At first there was only one or two exchanges that rebranded so they averaged that price for XEC and the rest of the exchanges provided the price measured still in BCHA One by one the exchanges switched over until right now it basically is only Kucoin that is providing the data for the old BCHA page they still maintain. So the BCHA price is basically the price data from KuCoin exchange. The situation is quite weird as they allow both to have a ranking which makes it look like they are two different coins but they are not. They are the same coin that is the native currency of the same blockchain. I am not sure what best to compare it with Maybe like this I dont know if this is true in your country also but overhere (most) women when they marry get the family name of the husband. So when they were called Jenifer X before they were married, they become Jenifer Y after the marriage. Their diplomas will still read Jenifer X but when she applies for a job people understand that Jenifer X and Jenifer Y are the same person and there is not suddenly 2 Jenifers🤷♀️. (I know that the analogy is not entirely correct but hope it helps anyway) Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) and eCash (XEC) are the same blockchain even if they have a different name. The only additional difference is that the default unit used is 1 million times smaller. (the decimal point moved over 6 places)
Thanks a lot for your expectation
