(X11) never changed when it failed (as there exist ASIC to mine that)... is there any good blog post about the history behind that?
It never failed. It was only supposed to delay ASIC mining.
It was supposed to prevent ASIC, it failed, it could have changed to other algorithm resistant, but it was blocked... Does somebody know that history?
No it wasn't, it was only to slow adoption, which it did. Regardless, why does it matter now? We're the king of the x11 algo which is what is important.
