distinct revenue model for the company itself? Unlike Quant that generates license (saas) revenue from its OVN, participants of the hypergraph doesn't specifically generate revenue for Constellation. 15 years CPA experience just thinking through the business side of things here lol
State channels need dag to run their company on the Hypergraph. They can either pay for dag for each tx or they can pay node operators in their own token or any other token. But no matter what DAG is constantly purchased to run the Hypergraph.
I understand the TPR and emissions concept from the tokenomics paper, but I don't see anywhere that would imply revenue directly to the Foundation itself. Only thing would just be the Fee-Paying aspect that would charge participants in $DAG for HGTP consensus and validation when they don't have their own state channels or dedicated nodes. I'm assuming that in itself will be huge at mass adoption lol

Damn, what a precise reference. Thanks dude.
This is a decentralized network. The founders make money the same way we all do. By the value of the tokens they purchased. Which means they are truly invested in the success of Constellation. They are DAGChads just like we are. Except they are working really hard behind the scenes to make sure we all benefit from this amazing network they are creating! 😃🤌💦
I wish I could get my salary in DAG
Me too! Me three and me four!! 😲
Just to go back to this - is that 10% contracted with participants? Indefinitely? I imagine the rate may change at mass adoption? Hopefully the team has their bases covered from a revenue reporting perspective under US GAAP and the ASC606 guidance. I'm ready to throw my name in once this type of FTE position is open at the company LOL.
