OUSD yield comes from?
You can read more about it here: https://docs.ousd.com/v/en/core-concepts/yield-generation and here: https://analytics.ousd.com
The analytics page is nice but still, where do I see the yield for the various strategies? What is the "Compound strategy allocation" etc? who is the master chief of yield optimization?
It is quite complicated process and it is hard to show every single step. Here is how it works: after sending the underlying stablecoins to supported strategies, reward tokens will be collected. The interest depends on when we liquidate reward tokens and which strategies we use. If someone holds OGN in wallets that don't support rebasing, their yields will be directed to other eligible holers.
Thank you I understand this. I'm more interested in knowing where exactly the yield comes from. What the various strategies entails and who is in charge of deciding the strategies? Is someone actively adjusting these or not? Are the strategies updated with market change?
Everything happens automaticially. The system chooses stragegies that have the best balance of risk and reward and then direct funds there.
Seeing 9m in Curve's 3pool is hardly "best reward" with a Base APY of 0.29%, unless it's staked and you continuously sell CRV rewards and add it to OUSD holders? But still that gives MAX 4%
The interest depends on when we liquidate reward tokens too. If someone holds OGN in wallets that don't support rebasing, their yields will be directed to other eligible holers.
