We need to look at what power and capital monopolies

are seeking to prevent or control in order to understand why it is important to keep building right now. the elites are going to regulate crypto because it allows any person to send value to any person anywhere on the planet. this destroys all proprietary models of power and capital monopolies. as a result, crypto will split into two: RegFi will comply and it will be and bolted down, and on the other side there will be DarkFi which stays true to to the values of privacy and decentralization.

DarkFi will be a movement; not just one project nor a company. we are slowly building a counter-economy that will give us tools to create systems that empower free communities which are private and self-governed. it will be based on the tactic of using advanced cryptography. as a result, privacy will be stronger than ever and DarkFi users will be completely unstoppable. we already invented the required privacy, DeFi and DAO technologies. combine all this together and we get DarkFi.

in my opinion this is the main narrative for the coming years. DarkFi is here and will sweep over our digital world. it cannot be stopped, since the benefits that it brings are too great. all the latent potentialities of humanity that are being pushed down will be allowed to rise up to the top. this is a great power that must be used respectfully.

this narrative aligns with Decred. it has the potential to make Decred cool again. it could launch the project back into the minds of people all over the world. DCR could once again be at the forefront of crypto!

with recent developments around Tornado Cash, Wasabi and Samurai Wallet, the time is ticking for DarkFi. will the Decred project join the fight for privacy and freedom? or will it comply and slowly sink into irrelevance?
