We all friends waiting since long time for reef binance staking
I wonder how do you calculated that APY? And not, APY displayed doesn't have into account waiting validators, because waiting validators do not enter in consensus, so they don't have era points.
there have not indeed but I think the APY is the wrong one. So I assume that the APY displayed by considering the total amount earned for each era divided by the number of validator (active and waiting). And I know how to calculate very accurately the rewards but it will be a little bit complicated to explain it in the chat 🤓
I just checked with my calculator, I can show you in private that it is actually taking into account the waiting validator but it means nothing, it is just a display bug. The APY received is correct
The actual validator APY begin at 0.52% and the best is 51.83%. I guess 0.52% is for validators with 99% commission and 51.83% for validators with 0% commission, right? Network APY must be calculated without applying validator commision. and I must insist, waiting validators are not taken into account FOR ANYTHING, neither for the APY, nor for the era points nor for anything that has to do with the rewards.
Yes it is correct 0.52% is for the 99% and 51.83 is for Klever (that is the best choice for now to nominate) And I agree with you, the actual rewards we receive everyday do not take into account the waiting validator BUT the APY displayed in the console does taking into account the waiting validators. That's why the APY displayed on the console is not the good one
