For Swp Szn, Participants had to have their money in a liquidity pool for at least 2 solid weeks. They were allowed to load that liquidity still on the last open day of the competition and then would have to maintain the balance without pulling it out for 2 weeks to maintain eligibility for prizes.

From the Swap Szn article "To ensure that everyone has adequate time to meet the 2-week liquidity requirement, users will be able to provide liquidity for up to 14 days from the last day of the event. So, prize processing will only begin once the 2-week buffer period is finished." Issuance of rewards is ultimately subject to the passing of a governance proposal by KAVA holders. Kava will finish the review of all qualified participants and process prize distribution by January 13th, 2022.
