so are you saying now that i've created a new wallet on mobile, to use the key from it to restore on my desktop? then transfer my funds out of the one currently on my desktop first? so basically, just getting rid of the old wallet

no. just restore ya wallet on your phone using the private key from your PC. you have have as many wallets as you like per device.

oh dang....i though there was a work around here. the app doesn't show the option to restore by key...just seed phrase. i'm on android if it matters
