Actually you can still do that on the mainnet. I have been trading USDX/BUSD pair for the past few weeks. The exchange rate has been somewhere between 1:1.010 to 1:1.06. So for each buy and sell of $10000 you make about $10-$50. It's not that much but doable if you time it right. It's basic arbitrage. I assume you can do a lot more with a bot but even manually I have made a few hundrend bucks with about 20 trades so far.
