The idea of iExec using some funds to rebuy their

own token was mine originally. I got accidentally banned for making fun of a scammer in a sarcastic way, which led Rafal to believe that I was also a scammer, which resulted in all my posts getting deleted with the ban. Weird story, no hard feelings.

To rephrase the token buyback idea:
iExec's fund reserves are massive: 50k ETH and 2k BTC, about $280 million at current prices, more than RLC's total market cap. To show confidence in their own project iExec could use a small allocation of these funds, maybe 5%, to buy RLC from the market, hold the token for some vested time and then use it for future funding purposes just like the ETH and BTC are used. There is very little risk in doing this and potentially much to gain in terms of community sentiment. Why would we hold RLC instead of ETH when even iExec themselves believes that ETH will keep outperforming RLC forever?
In the stock market companies often buy their own stocks when they think the valuation is too low.

Obviously if iExec would choose to do this, they would be wise to buy the RLC first and THEN communicate it to the public.
