Anyone can help me to understand about Cashtab and Electrum

ABC? I used my cashtab seeds to open on Electrum ABC, but on Electrum ABC, my balance is 0, which isnt true.

am i doing anything wrong?

Phlip - Not giving away coins-

The reason is the default derivation path in Electrum ABC is not the same. Different derivation paths lead to different addresses/keys. If it does not select BIP39 seed automatically (it would usually do that) then forcing BIP39 is te way to go That will allow you to change the default derivation path or scan paths if you do not know which path was used by the wallet that generated your seed. Normal derivation path uses 899’ (for wallets that do not support eToken) Cashtab uses 1899’ as it supports eToken Generally speaking one should be careful with wallets that hold tokens as a wallet that does not support eToken may end up burning those tokens. In the case of Electrum ABC I believe it is token aware even though it does not support eToken. This should prevent burning of eTokens but still it is advisable to be cautious as I am not 100% sure about that.

Thanks Phlip! :) That was just a simple adjust. I am able to see my real balance on electrum. I will move to electrum abc due to the hard wallet (satochip)

Yes, i dont have eTokens. Maybe in the future i may try it but for now im focused only to keep my XEC safe.
