This was the last early investor batch.

Please don’t delete or kick me out from the group. PLEASE TEAM ACT FAST Honestly, I’m in Reef since the beginning…I decided to invest on Reef because in my eyes everything was clear. The initial total supply was 21.000.000.000 tokens…but now? Since several months I’m trying to understand the figures…but the team is doing whatever they want without caring about the investors…this isn’t fair. The governance system should be give to the holders to decide…but we are only undergoing the decisions of a few.

Hi Ben! Hope you’re doing well. Which batch are you talking about ? Thanx

If I understand correctly though the only deflationary mechanism right now is transaction token burning. But with limited Dapps running on mainnet this is not keeping up with the inflation caused by staking rewards and increases of supply? I think project should have waited for more Dapps running for transaction burning before staking rewards, inflation is just increasing and devaluation occurs. This why I think many were hopeful of a planned burn until the transaction burning at least caught up.

Thats what is we are saying since a few months now. We need Dapps.

Yes but normally Dapps come before staking rewards 🤷‍♂️ if not enough Dapps yet where is the value being generated for the rewards....

Fees are low which is a great USP for our blockchain. So as you can imagine per day there will be not burned that much because there are simply not enough Dapps on the ReefChain.

The whole blockchain is build on this concept. Its not a decision its a property.

You cant put dapps on a not working chain. So you need validators to approve blocks.

It really makes not a big difference if you stake on Binance your DOT. You are actually staking on the blockchain though Binance will also cause a inflation. I dont know it but i assume that you also will have a lower APY on Binance for DOT staking instead of staking on their console directy. Correct me if im wrong.

Yes I believe Binance offers a lower staking % rate for most of it's staking options. However many accept that trust centralised exchanges and appreciate the convenience of one click buy and stake.

True, but I'm not sure where Dot was with their Dapps when they first started staking rewards. I understand it takes time, I think with waiting it's important to keep transparent updates. Anyway again appreciate your engagement and sensible answers. I'm not shaken out yet😅

As i said...staking is a property of the blockchain. You could not make a single transaction without this. Thats why it is called POS. Nominated Proof-of-Stake.
