Some user prefer to hold the more stable BUSD as the safer option and mint USDX, but you can get higher yields buying USDX direct but some may consider it slightly less safe because of it's higher level of votility and perceived risk of losing it's peg, although over the last 8 months has shown that when it does dip below 95c tends to return back above 98c within a relatively short period. Personally I tend to have a mix of both USDX bought direct and USDX minted with BUSD and am ready to buy USDX if it dip below 95c

Also, BUSD is a popular option if users mint USDX from Mint, swap USDX for BUSD and send it to Binance and they would convert it for fiat. That would be my route if I need emergency cash.

Sorry Cameron but busd is very untrusted on kava platform We should take the risk of stucking 48 hours refunding if deputy getting empty, because platform is purely dependent on binance that they charching it or no

Buy up USDX on Ascendex and KavaSwap Actually buying USDX below $1.00 actually gives you a higher yield than minting USDX with BUSD as if you supply $1,000 BUSD you can only mint under 990 USDX, while swapping BUSD for USDX at $0.97 gets you 1031 USDX boosting your yields by 4% The cheaper you buy the USDX the bigger the boost. Many users already swap BUSD to USDX if it falls to say 92c-96c, then later when it's above 99c swap back, which tends to keep it in the 97-99c range
