Yeah: no private key, no wallet so better back it up -> I prefer a password manager with file attachments capabilities like KeePass or KeePassXC but there are many more.

Well... it is a layer 1 blockchain -> lots of things have to be developed from scratch and priorities have to be set. I *think* seed phrases are on the roadmap like generally optimizing the Casper Signer... but software development takes time.

There are also other issues with other blockchains... Solana had some downtime recently again, another project had some exploit where somebody could get paid in BTC, another project engineers aren't available during the own pre-sale to support and so on... 😉 So compared to my other experience Casper and it's team is very organized, available, skilled and lots of things are going forward all the time - even when I like to rant sometimes myself 😅

I totally agree and I like Casper project…I think that the future will be in layer 1 best projects and Casper can be one of these 😊 I hope that the wallet will be soon modified with seed 😉 I go to sleep, have a nice night 😊

Smart Contracts are already implemented and working since a long time... staking is implemented via smart contracts for example AFAIK

Hello Some projects like Gosuto wallet, bitkeep and even ledger that's in dev mode all has passphrases enabled 😊👍🏽 Casper Signer will also be incorporating mnemonic phrases in the coming months..
