understand yield farming since I don't know much about it. I know this is the HEX group but I figured the hexicans here have the most knowledge lol.
Once the chain launches and the bridges open, will only people who sacced for pulsex be able to make a pulsex trading pair ? Example (eth/pulsex) . And anyone who didn't get in on the sac would have to wait and buy pulsex to make their own pair and be yield farmers?
Also trying to understand how the first sell/buy will work to set the price on a pulsex trading pair. Are the yield farmers able to set an initial price for a sale of pulsex? Or is the beginning price determined another way?
Anyone able to answer I would be grateful 🙂
no, anyone can create a trading pair and we hope many will
there can be any pair imaginable. Pls/ hex, pls/plsx
Well from what I've researched to create a pair and be a yield farmer you need both tokens both with the same value. So at first the only people who will have pulsex to make a trading pair will be those who sacced. Correct me if I'm wrong
the first trades will be ratio trades. 1 pls could swap for 1 plsx for example, the the next trade would be .99 pls to 1.01 plsx (example)
Yes I'm not talking about before the bridges open but after. When pairs like usdt/pulsex come into play
yeah people can bridge in usdt which will start the pulsex trading wars for what is the value of all of this!
Yes I know that lol. Nevermind 😆
you don't need plsx to create a pls / hex pair. You need the 2 coins in the trading pair and you need a little pls to perform the transaction of adding the coins for trade
Lol yes I know. I never said pls/hex pair. I'm saying right when the bridges open the only ones who will have pulsex to create a PULSEX trading pair will be the ones who sacced. So therefore they are the only ones who can yield farm that pair at least at the very beginning
you are right. There will be no more plsx created, but I am almost certain anyone can swap for it if you have an erc20 that gets copied
Ya they will once the first pair is made. Just talking about the very first. Do you have any knowledge on how the initial price is set for the very first trade? Is the pair creates and then the Dex decides?
the very first would be a 50/ 50 ration of the two coins added. RH did say the market will decide
The ratio is always 50 50 in value that is. Ah ok so the Dex decides. I wonder with what criteria? Maybe how much liquidity is added to the pair right at first?
HEX's price went up the fastest when its liquidity was the lowest. Bitcoin's price went up the fastest when its liquidity was lowest. Ethereum's price went up the fastest when its liquidity was the lowest.
the end of of the most scary bear market after a massive dump. I see that will always repeat because, it's crypto... 24/7/365 and if you don't enter when it happens, no one to blame.
you add the coins at 50% and 50% when you first create the LP, that is how uni v2 works
Yes that's what I just said. Ok well thanks for your input 👍
I have a video of adding hex and eth to the uni v1 pair, and I will make more for plsx when it is relevant
