Is the ~24hr just for initial setup or after every reboot?

After a full sync. This can be 24-96 hours after initial setup, or shorter after a Hotspot reboot to reach a full sync again.

For me full sync was more than a week 🥵

Once a Hotspot is fully synced, PoC activity should begin within 24 hours
