Is there something wrong with the explorer map? On a

new hotspot it sometimes says "Synced" and transmit scale 0.85, and other times "Syncing" with transmit scale N/A..... Checking with Hotspotty shows "Likely online", "Not relayed" and "No response" - Miner:No listen address found & Blockchain:No listen address found

The port is forwarded, connections from the outside are possible, reaching the hotspot which responds with /multistream/1.0.0

It's a Sensecap M1 - the dashboard shows "Fully synced", the explorer map shows "Syncing" ... P2P Status - Unknown (P2P Out/In - Yes). Hotspot online status: Online; Helium online status: Offline; Relayed: Unknown

The location doesn't have any neighbors (not in the line of sight at least), could this be related to the issue? We'll move it to a new location in a day or two.

Also for some reason on the explorer map the displayed location is wrong, on the hotspotty it shows the correct location we placed the hotspot on.

Check the front end of your miner to get real time info on your hot spot. HTTP into the IP address assigned to your device from within the same network. The explorer map isn't exactly real time updated.
