I notice 100 vs 1 pays out more?
Strategy, mostly
Because the equivalent T-shares are more, for the same amount of HEX staked. And the more T-shares you get, the more daily payout.
I'm trying to wrap my head around the point of doing multiple. My assumption is if I do 100 it means 100 payments over 15 yrs. For some context. I plan on staking 2 accounts. One for my wife and I and one for my kids.
This makes more sense. I.e. $1000 per week stakes would be 52 stakes for 5555 in 1 year?
5555 implies a stake length of 5555 days. You seem to be talking about building a Staking Ladder up to 5555 days. Staking ladders provide flexibility and regular income, since rewards and principal is not released until you actually end a stake.
If you did this, you would have to wait 5555 days from your first stake before you can end a stake and realize your profits, unless you Emergency End Stake early, which would be subject to Emergency End Stake Penalties
Doing 1 stake for 5555 days for my kids is perfect. They will be between the ages of 18-21 by then. They have no need to touch it until then. My wife and I on the other hand would want to enjoy some payments as 5555 days is damn near retirement age for us.
Who want to invest his or her coins?
I set up from year 1 to 15. Now every end stake I am making 5555s, and every new stake CAN be a 5555 without worry
yeah, diversifying the strategy is recommended for most. Look up CD Ladders/Staking Ladders You could set up a 5555 for the kids, then do Stakes to end each year for 5-10 years for example. When each stake comes to majority, you can put the principal back in to the end (last rung of the ladder) - eventually you could have a 5 year long stake ending every year for example
