by signing a dodgy contract?
I'm pretty sure this happened to me. My seed has 100% never been compromised as created offline with a hardware wallet. But I signed a fake contract by mistake on one of my addresses (an airdrop I thought was legitimate). This automated a bunch of token swaps on a DEX and then sent the tokens out from my wallet to the hackers address. Clever.
Hey, I'm sorry to hear that. Anyhow, it's unlikely your 'hardware wallet' itself was compromised. However, most likely, by signing the transaction, you allowed the fake contract to just swap stuff on your behalf. So they don't have your seeds but unfortunately they have permission from your wallet to spend money, most likely. There IS a website where you can check and TAKE AWAY these permissions, but I don't remember which. I'm sure a hexican will remember in here
Having a hardware wallet doesn't protect you if you've signed a dodgey contract or given token spend allowances You can check and revoke token spend allowances here https://etherscan.io/tokenapprovalchecker

++ Yes, use this link! Awesome Tezz!
I did revoke the contract almost immediately after seeing funds being drained - but most funds were already gone. Once the contract is revoked is the wallet safe to continue using? As they do not have the seed phrase the wallet is still technically not hacked right?
