Hi Swissborg, I finally upgraded my member ship to Genesis

Premium. Could someone help me understnad the yield on CHSB? It says i will have 27.42% and then I have a Yield multiplier of 2X. Does it mean I will get approx 56% per year in CHSB?

The 50k for genesis are staked for premium status, no yield on them. Additional chsb have different yield brackets like 0-2000, 2000-10000 and so on

so if ETH is 4% for Genesis Premium stakers and the yield is 2x, does this mean 8% in total?

Can it really be true there’s no yield on the 50.000 staked for premium? I should’ve read better but this Is surprising to me. What’s my benefit of being genesis then unless I buy a lot more CHSB and put them to work? The yield for the other cryptos, is quite low so it seems I only save money on trading fees when getting in and out of the market

I take 100% responsibility for this and I do appreciate the low trading fees. Since I’m living in Switzerland this Is important for me. I just think you should give some base yield on this stake. At Crypto com I get 10% apy on the stake and they have good apy on other coins too. So not having any apy at all on a stake I lock for a year, is not that attractive.

yes good points and the benefits in the last year have been very little they say there will be more benefits i hope there are so you enjoy from it.

I really hope this is something that will be considered and hopefully changed. Not having any yield on such a big position you stake is almost unheard of these days. But ok now I did it, so I just hope this is something that will be looked into

i think ftx do it but you get free trading and one erc20 withdrawal a day free for example. maybe swissborg could reduce the 0.1% withdrawal fees on bigger amounts?

But this feels like you didn’t read into it and then ask for something comparing CHSB to another coin. Are you trying to get new members for another platform???

oh absolutely not.

I really hope they don't change it. I understand ppl feel like they should get a Yield on the tokens staked for premium, but frankly that's just greedy. You also have to give something up to the ecosystem, in this case locking up decreases the supply of the token. Furthermore, if your locked tokens did have a yield on it we would have around 180M more tokens in the Yield wallets, more than 40% increase from the 380M in the yield wallet now. That would just decrease the yield for other users using the CHSB yield wallet, which is unfair. The CHSB yield was redesigned in order to help users with smaller portfolios achieve/accumulate more tokens. Granting a yield on tokens locked for premium would just go against the Yield 2.0 mission. Ofc this is all my opinion 😄

It would be also a legal problem for most users not sure if they understand that yield is a taxable event in most countries

thanks for sharing your opinion. All I was saying is that there are other places where you can get higher yield on staked tokens while still getting a yield on the core stake position. When it comes to trading fees, Swissborg beats all competition I have seen so if you buy and sell a lot this could justify the investment

I understand that but GP will not just be yields. And again all future benefits aside, GP makes sense (imo) 1) Huge portfolio 2) hard on believer in future features/ SB vision. Watch the AMA from this January, around the 55min mark if you want to hear what Alex has to say about GP! It might put your mind at ease :)

think my message gone, i was simply answering his question he asked you get nothing for staking for a year so i gave an example of an exchange that did give perks but not interest. of course i was not trying to move him there, besides he is stuck on swissborg for a year! so lets hope for some nice things this year.
