Staking is limited to 5555 days if that’s what you’re asking.

Thank you for the info, but that was not my question.

It is unlimited...just like any other coin. BTC is what...3600+ days old?

I was trying to know if for example let's say 20 years from now it will still be profitable to stake $HEX or is there a limitation 15 years after the launch?

Still profitable, as you'll still make Hex...but you will make significantly less because Tshare rate will be very high

Yes indeed, could not it create a bottleneck the increasing of the Tshare price overtime? I mean in term of growth?

5555 days is relative, not absolute. A 5555 stake started 2 years ago would end 2 years before a 5555 stake started today.

Those who stake now for 15 years likely wouldn't need to restake, unless they want stakes for their kids some more. But what a Tshare buys now vs later could be very small...but while you have less tshares, payout per day will be much higher...along with price. I.e. .1 Tshare earning 30 hex per day at $10 per hex is same as let's say 10 tshares earning 8 hex per day at $4/hex roughly

You are only considering one aspect in your statement. Total shares in the system are deflationary whilst the payout per Tshare is expected to increase exponentially.

Yes but also the acquisition price of each tshare, it is also going to grow overtime.

Phrased it wrong. I said significantly less but I meant staking early is better than staking later because it is less hex per share now vs 20 yrs

Thank you for your clear answer. Got another one, is it technically possible that the Tshare rate decreases overtime?

No, the share rate always ratchets up according to ROI realized by Stakers when they end stake, preventing short stakers from outperforming long stakers. Longer ALWAYS pays better

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rI_Df45cMuQ https://hexicans.info/shares/ When you stake HEX you burn that HEX in exchange for shares. Those shares are used by the contract to reward you your portion of daily interest and early end stake/late unstake penalties. Then when your stake is mature, you end stake, which dissolves your shares in exchange for minting your HEX which will be your original principal + all interest, penalties earnt whilst being staked. T-shares = terra shares or 1 trillion shares. Effective HEX uses your longer pays better and bigger pays better bonuses to compute your shares for the stake. Share price only goes up because reducing shares for new guys is the same mathematically as compounding shares for old guys. It's computationally more efficient and makes a cool chart. Share price has no direct relationship to price on exchange, though since shares become more scarce than HEX, there is probably some influence.

if you make a 5555 stake when it is over you will not gain more rewards so you need to endstake, and stake again to get more
