Wich kind of community is this? You ask a question

about a miner wich is not having a witness for almost two months and no one helps you to even get an explanation for it or a start of solution and this for hours. I have also noticed that many people asking here for help are always let down. People should help each other or at least direct you.

Whats your setup. Have you upgraded the antenna. Where is the antenna placed. Is the miner all synced or still syncing? There are so many things due to which a miner wont witness any other miner so when you ask for help be specific on what you need help with. Just saying my miner dont see any witness wont be helpful for any one to understand your problem. And there are so many resources on youtube that people should look for help

Hi, thank you for replying. In fact the miner is synced and the antenna is on the roof. Everything use to work perfect untill two months ago. I use to have about 50 or more witnesses. But one Day i changed the location with few hundreds meters away to upgrade towarss the 1 scale and it never witnessed any beacon again. This is now so for more than two months now

This clearly looks something wrong with the antenna setup. Try reconnecting all cables from antenna to the miner. I suspect bad connection to the antenna as if you were getting 50witness and moving just 100mts should not decrease it to 0.

Thank you mate, i Will look into that tomorrow by day light. I have suspected that it might be the antenna and checked the connection from roof side. Now i have to check also from the hotspot side. I Will keep you updated if i succeed getting witnesses again. Thank you a lot for replying. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Good Day mate, i have checked my nebra miner and find out that small antenna cable inside the miner was not connected where it should be regarding the lack of having witnesses. Now i have fixed that with the hope that it Will now have some witnesses. Should i also be afraid of a damage on the miner for being on all these two months without the antenna being connected properly? I am asking because some said that you Only put the hotspot while antenna is properly fixed otherwise it Will damage the miner. Thank you in advance for answering. Anyone can answer me if does know about this.

Good that you were able to find the issue. Your only option now is to wait and watch. I hope you start getting same level/ better level of witnesses with the antenna fixed!!

Flash a new SD card is the right answer. The stock one is 32 and is too small. I use a 128. If yours worked before it is possible to clone it to a larger SD and save all your setup work. If you have a RAK wireless miner, go to the website for the instructions. Best to low level copy if yours worked before. Low level copier for windows: Win32 Disk Imager. Software is free.
