The ergo-cardano bridge is simpler since both chains are eutxo, while in susy we're connecting ergo to a system which is built with account models in mind. So lots of tricks and simplifications can be made when building a native eutxo model bridge. Interestingly, lots of works can be done offchain in this case, which makes the bridge efficient and simple. There are however some obstacles right now, since cardano is not supporting data inputs (will be in future HFs). But, we know and will try some workarounds here. about the time, idk atm. I'm designing it and having some talks with Ilya on this. I'm not very familiar with cardano side but he is. He confirmed that the cardano side is very similar to what we have done in ergo, so not a big deal.
