and Dan Crothers will do a fine job there as he is doing currently.

But it’s quite obvious OMI token / crypto side of things Dan lacks experience and does not seem to show any interest. There is only so much one person can do at a time and it’s understandable.

We need a new COO for the OMI side of things. For speeding up its utility, expanding OMI token utility.

One of the reason I am saying this is because for example….

They released OMI utility program details a few months ago. They hinted they may expand the OMI staking max limit to $50k usd in one of the AMAs. But even after a few months we neither got the OMI utility or staking going, but we cannot even expect the upgraded staking limits until the next iteration of OUP. So end of the year?

There should be someone more active in pushing for OMI side of things too.

Kay, if not you, can you ask one of your influencer friends to ask this valid question. The team def will take this more seriously if asked by someone they respect

OMI only migrated to ERC20 a couple of weeks ago - there's plenty of utility coming, gochain held them back for doing it sooner. All the utility was dependent on being on ethereum which they only just migrated to.

You have to use the swap site now and swap gochain omi to erc20

I meant now that they have so much time because of some unexpected technical issue with immutable with migration, if the team were proactive about OMI utility don’t you think they could use this time to bypass phase 1 OMI staking limits and go directly to phase 2. Now that they got so much input from the community and so much time to think and design that. If Dan had some free time from VeVe platform I am sure he would think about that. That’s why having another COO looking at OMI and token side of things and reporting to David (after consulting with Dan about the proposals)?

They never have "so much time", they're working on so much both on compliance alongside new partnerships to use OMI and things you'll never see as a user such as reengineering the app, Web platform veveverse development, mtl testing, api scaling, data analytics of bot versus real users, then extending that a pipeline to reduce false positives of real users getting caught in their detection. Then there's all the stuff they never talk about publicly.. its a lot

They are slow and will #soon lose their first mover advantage to competition. Lack of MTL (or any cash out option) is frankly just embarrassing at this point.

That is my point too by the way. They have so many things going on with the app, mtl new licenses etc at the same time. Because of this they are not able to concentrate on logistics of the utility program. Instead of starting basically minimal utility for the token in phase 1. They could concurrently modify their program to start with moderate utility which the token holders deserve. And have b done m patient for more than an year. Tbh almost 4 years now?

I agree that they are have hard time. We have 2 million users now. We have more than 4 millions nfts minted. Secondary market is doing well. Why not give more time to something that were promised a year ago?

I think many people would disagree with the statement plenty of utility is coming, unless you know more than the rest of the community. Current OUP v1 is weak and doesn’t implement the token to its full extend

That’s good, as it should beZ especially because they received a lot of money. I think the issue is their prioritization and the way they communicate about that. The status at the moment for all the people are basicly a black box. No one knows

An Ecomi youtuber who gives price predictions who happens to work along side an ecomi advisor and is now suggesting he may know more than us because of that fact.. dam we need regulation in this space lol

It always did, just gotta be patient. Ecomi survived a lawsuit and other nonsense which other projects haven't even been tested against.. most don't even have an actual product which will really stand out this year
