Can somebody eli5 what happens with t-shares now after this

When the T-Shares lock in when the day ticks over, additional T-Shares are added to the existing pool. All the T-shares get a share of the HEX Daily Payout Pool, (currently around 6 HEX per T-share per day). Increase the T-Share Supply decreases the Daily Payout (not accounting for other daily penalties)

disagree. T-shares rate doesn't increase when a stake starts, only when a stake ends. The big stake action can only impact the Share Price (USD) by the effect it has on removing HEX from Circulating Supply (Therefore reducing potential sell pressure)
