/ the market won’t know any better. This creates more speculation rather than tangible measurement?

It’s a fair point. I haven’t seen any APY / processing volume breakdowns though, so still nothing to measure from. Would be an extreme guess

Sure, but say the processing volume 10xs over a year or two, but the price of the coin doesn’t change- then the apy will rocket sky high (which will/would rationally have driven the coin price higher than allowing a very high apy)
