then stake, do you think it prudent to wait for pulseX to go live to avoid huge ETH fees?....OR, will buying HEX now on ETH even with fees more than equal out because of pHEX on pulseX so it would not even be a remote issue. Input appreciated.
it will be MUCH better to have double the HEX on two chains than just HEX on PulseChain
Hex on ETH is cheap right now. ETH gas has been actually cheaper lately. If one bought Hex now and staked and kept some liquid then you would get copies of those when Pulse launches. NFA
Good to know on ETH fees...I will look on fees. You mentioned keep some HEX liquid. So, are you saying if we stake now, we do not get copies on pulsex and would not get pHEX unless it is not staked? Would it be good to not stake if so until AFTER we get pHEX copies on all or a vast majority of HEX bought now? I wanted to be sure I follow what you meant...maybe I misinterpreted what you were saying?
HEX stakes on Ethereum will be 'copied' with HEX stakes on Pulsechain.
You get one copies off Hex staked and not staked
You get copies of every Erc20 you have plus any liquid or stakes. Guessing your gonna want/ need Pulse when it launches if you didn't sac for that so one of the thoughts is to have liquid Hex or other Erc20 on the Pulse side to swap for Pulse. Pulse will always be needed because it's the gas. Like ETH is
Ok. I sacrificed chainlink for pulsex the 1st couple days it went live. I missed pulse sacrifice though. I was just thinking about investing a sizable amount for HEX and stake it all for 5 plus years now (and get pHEX copies). I am wondering why I would need pulse at all for this (you mean a nominal amount for transactions)? Last question on copied stakes...does that mean if we have HEX stakes for 5 years now then the copied pHEX would also be staked 5 years or would it be liquid and usable now?
Yes to most of this. Trust me when Pulse launches I highly doubt you'll be able to resist the urge to do stuff there. For that you'll need Pulse. As lso hope you do all this through the security of a hardware wallet. You'll sleep much better
Thank so much Jeff. Yes...I will do it via Ledger and desktop Metamask.
